Growing up in East Central Illinois, Amy Price Carr moved to Aspen in 1997. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of Tulsa and has experience in the hospitality industry including property management and real estate. She moved to the Shield O Mesa area in 2008 with her husband, Tom Carr, and two children. Amy and Tom are partners of a local real estate company, Leverich & Carr Real Estate located downtown Aspen serving the Roaring Fork Valley from residential, ranches and land properties.

She enjoys skiing, hiking, and living in the rural peacefulness of Old Snowmass. Maintaining a healthy balance of development along with preservation of the Snowmass Valley is an important focus for being a Snowmass Caucus member.
